The surname or family name for the person

 

The given or other names for the person

 

The event to which the record relates

 

A collection of standard event types are available for selection from the drop down list or manually enter a value

 

Enter the date on which the event occurred

The Location where the event occurred

 

The Role that the person played at the Event

 

A collection of standard Roles are available from the drop down list of manually enter a value

 

Enter the age of the person at the time of the event

 

Used to record the Individual ID, i.e. The unique identifier assigned to an individual in most family history software packages

 

If the IID for the person as used by an associated Family File, is known, it should be entered to establish a link to the Family File and enable the persons details to be accessible from the Person Analysis View

 

This must be a numeric value

 

Clears all elements to enable the creation of a new included person record

 

Copy the contents of the current included person record as a new record

 

If there are many persons to be entered sharing similar names, events, dates, etc. use the Copy button at the top right of the dialog to duplicate the record displayed in the dialog and change the information as required

 

Save changes to the included person record

 

Select this option to display the date pop-up window which is designed to assist in maintaining consistency in recording event dates

 

 

If the BETWEEN option is selected from the  drop down DATE TYPE  the bottom row will be enabled for data entry

 

Select the CLOSE button to write the date to the included persons screen

Click select to retrieve a location from the LOCATION MASTER view
